Home Staging

Before Staging

“The way you live in your home and the way we sell your house are two different things” Barb Schwarz

The bottom line STAGED HOMES SELL!

“Staging works! It’s a creative process that delivers a big punch with tangible results” Barb Schwarz

As an ASP stager, we are trained to stage homes creatively with out spending a lot of money.

When people hear the word staging, they often confuse staging with decorating; yet as Barb Schwarz often says “staging in not decorating. Decorating is a way to personalize your living space, to announce to everyone who walks through the front door who you are and what you like. Staging is the opposite. It’s the act of depersonalizing, taking the home out of the house by depersonalizing it with out leaving it sterile and uninviting”.

“When selling or marketing a house, “staging is very important, because it allows buyers to see the house as it really is, without the distraction of the homeowner’s clutter, collections, and in some cases, extreme taste”.

“Staging is the process of transforming a home in to a product that can be marketed for sale. People will not purchase a house until they can see them selves living there. This is hard to do when the house is filled with the current owner’s belongings”. ” Barb Schwarz

People spend a lot of time in the kitchen and if they can’t see past all the nick knacks they will not want to spend time there.

Presto! By turning on the lights and removing things from the counters the kitchen looks larger, brighter and ready to cook in. It’s very important for buyers to be able to see them selves in the kitchen.
